What is Prana?
Ancient Vedic scriptures describes prana as being the energy which sustains all forms of life. Everywhere you look, it is there: the tree, the frog, the elephant and even the lowly ameoba. You name it and chances are that prana allows it to be.

Going with the Flow

If the body can be compared to a water hose, then prana is the water which flows through it. Unfortunately, due to poor lifestyle choices and everyday stress, our bodies have become kinked in many places, preventing the proper flow of prana.

Back to Square One

Fortunately, even the tightest knots can be undone with the proper technique. The practice of pranayama helps remove these blocks and allow the prana to once again flow throughout the whole body. When energy flows through the body, it is capable of healing, often reversing chronic illnesses.

A Note on Pranayama

The practice of Pranayama requires the direct support of a teacher who is trained and who has reached a certain understaning of the sutle techniques.

Our teachers are trained under the strict guidelines of Teacher Training Programs
